CRUSH
Am I too old to have a crush on someone? My last crush was two years ago and it’s not like I’ve not found anyone attractive since 2015, I don’t just know where I kept my feelings. Weird things attract me, it could be having a lazy contemplative look like Forest Whitaker or laugh lines like James Franco, big eyes, broken teeth, someone who is kind without even knowing your personality, or a very smart person from the way you talk, someone who isn’t lazy, etc. What is so special about crushes that make me feel speechless when I try to communicate with them? I get all shy, can’t look at their faces, start fidgeting and can’t make up to three sentences even if I try to be partially friendly ???. Apparently a lot changed when I found that the love is not always reciprocated the way I would want it to be and I showed more love than the other person.
WHAT EXACTLY IS HAVING A CRUSH ON SOMEONE?
When you have a crush on someone, it simply means you have developed a strong desire for that person which may grow into true love or just die the way it came ?. It gives you this excitement when you see them, excessive blushing, etc. Then I was a bit creepy by drawing the people I crush on. That’s sad I know?.
Most times as humans we feel insecure when we are with our crush like they might want to know us for who we really are and find a lot of flaws in the process. You’d become conscious of things you can’t change like how you look without makeup, how the size of your eyes, nose and lips are, the colour of your skin, your height, etc. Insecurity steps in because you just want to be perfect for that person.
When our crush turns into a relationship, we should keep it healthy. We shouldn’t put fear into the relationship by thinking we are lucky the crush cares enough to date us or we are putting in more effort than the crush. The foundation should be on God and mutual feelings. Most christains go into wrong relationships based on this ‘crush’ thingy. We displease God trying to please our crush in the process. Place your crush name in 1 Corinthians 13:4-6 and see if it fits. Stay Woke ✌?. Btw I just remembered I’m crushing on myself ❤️?.

This is a beautiful piece. I am glad I fell in love with my crush and favored because it was a mutual feeling. I am glad that our relationship is healthy and our foundation is on God.
