Eyes

I finally believe the eyes are the windows to the soul

Your eyes are the purest form of art

I basically invented a conversation with them that will never be

I read every deep message it communicated

As your lashes fluttered, I knew I could be lost in your gaze forever

I was almost hynoptized as your irises had this warmness around it

The last time I looked deeply into someone’s eyes this much was when I felt anger and pain from mistrust

Your gaze is dissecting every bit of humanity in me

I shouldn’t be the one to feel this way

Am I tearing?

I can’t look anymore

I don’t know if my eyes can also communicate that I understand

I see you

I’m staring at grief

Those eyes looked  happy a brief moment ago

The long, thick and dark lashes was some sort of shield

I think the tears would help so I can see with a crystal clear view

When I closed my eyes to sleep, I knew that I had to be everything I could be to bring back trust and happiness to those beautiful brown eyes.
